About us

Global Professional Brigades is a grassroots 501(c)3 service organization dedicated to empowering professionals from the US and Canada with the support to help Central America's most needy communities.  Founded on the principle of sustainable development, we maintain an ongoing effort to find lasting way in which to contribute to our host communities.  Our goal is to provide you with the experience of a lifetime and provide our communities with tools that last a lifetime.

In contrast to our other programs that are geared toward student participation, Global Professional Brigades has been created for the explicit purpose of including working professionals in our programs.  By offering our this program to participants of all ages, we look to provide the experience of being an international service volunteer to a wider audience. 

Our friendly staff has a combined 30+ years experience working with volunteer groups from the US and Canada.  All of our lodging is safe and comfortable, with traditional meals prepared on-site.  We can accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 100+, and there are a variety of projects that you can choose from in both Panama and Honduras.
